Children are always huge fans of animals and have probably begged you countless times for a dog, cat or rabbit! But would they like these islands that are predominantly inhabited by animals?<\/p>\n

Pig Island, Bahamas<\/strong><\/p>\n

It looks more like the scene from a surreal Disney movie rather than real life but Pig Island really does exist. Located in the azure waters of the Bahamas, visitors are invited to view the family of pigs that have become extremely popular*<\/p>\n

If your kids have always been asking for a kitten, Cat Island in Japan will be heaven for them. There are actually about 12 of these \u2018Cat Islands\u2019 in Japan, where the cats outnumber humans 6 to 1. Small fishing islands are completely over run by these furry felines and locals actually find them a bit of a nuisance.<\/p>\n

Assateague Island National Seashore<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are few places in the world where you can witness wild horses but the Assateague horses are quite well known and tourists are keen to get a glimpse. The view of wild horses galloping along the pristine beaches is fascinating but bizarre. However, visitors are encouraged to keep their distance for the well-being of the animals and themselves.<\/p>\n

Seal Island, South Africa<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course, only seals inhabit this island! No human in their right mind could share an island with these stinky animals, but plenty of tours in South Africa pay a visit to this interesting island!<\/p>\n

Another island ruled by animals in Japan is Rabbit Island, also known as Okunoshima. Home to hundreds of wild but friendly rabbits, visitors are keen to see these fluffy animals and share the pictures with their friends back at home. This surreal experience is definitely one to enjoy as a family.<\/p>\n
