Comfortable, simply furnished 3 Trident Resort with rooms located in 2-storey bungalows. All rooms have shower rooms, flat screen TV, mini-bar, hair drier, ironing kit and safe.
The ocean side bungalows and the pine forest bungalows are in two quite distinct areas, each with its own specific character.

2-3 years open 6 days a week, 9am-5.30pm and 7.30pm-9pm (singing and stories whilst parents dine in peace). Lunch also available. Cost £210 per child per week.

Children's Club, Mini club Med:
4-10 years. 6 days a week, 9am-5.30pm and 7.30-9pm in school holidays. Designated secure area with its own pool, paddling pool and play equipment. Split into smaller groups according to age. Children can choose each day between different sports, games, creative etc.
Sports activities include: windsurfing, tennis, sailing, football, skating. archery. Children have to be a certain age to participate in some of these.
Teenagers:
Own dedicated room, split into 2 age groups: 11-13 and 14-17 years. Amazing range of activities: dance, theatre, skating, sailing, windsurfing volleyball, internet access etc.
Excursions/picnics, evenings film nights, discos etc are organised.

'Baby corner' in main restaurant where equipment to prepare meals such as mixers, microwaves as well as jars of sweet and savoury baby food are provided. Highchairs and boaster seats available.
'Children's restaurant' opens 6-7.30pm where parents can enjoy freshly cooked meals with their young children.

Beaches:
The Plage de la Grande Côte is a public beach with no facilities, 4 kms (2.5 miles) long with promenade, next to the Resort. It is stunning with excellent sand.

The area...
Located in a Pine Forest right on the coast and opposite the Cordouan Lighthousethe Palmyre Atlantique is an all-inclusve resort because it is Club Med but unusually it is not isolated being close to Royan.
You can walk along the promenade to bars and cafes, family holiday entertainment (small rides etc), ice-creams and even La Palmyre Zoo!
There are many km's of bike trails and walks. The area is very flat and there is a cycle lane along the promenade so very safe for children.
What will the weather be like...
The main summer months of June - September offer a perfect climate for those who love the sunshine but not the scorching heat of some of the Southern Med destinations. Expect daytime temperatures of between 21 - 25 degrees with just a very occasional rain shower. Sea temperatures peak in August at 21 degrees.
May and October can be unsettled with an average daytime temperature of 18 degrees but this is a mix of warm and cooler days to rather than consistently 18 degrees. Evenings can start to be cool and some rainy days are to be expected.
