More activities are close at hand with tourist resorts of Cala Bona - the harbour has some lovely restaurants - and a superb beach at Cala Millor. Here you can find watersports, mini-golf etc. There is a promenade running from Cala Bona to Porto Cristo through resorts such as Sa Coma and S'Illot which is a fun coastal bike ride - hire your bikes in Cala Bona.
There are stunning beaches to explore in the North too, try Cala Mesquida.
Local markets are available on several days a week in various local town nearby.
What will the weather be like...
Mallorca enjoys hot sunny summers, mild winters and pleasant Spring and Autumn temperatures.
Towards the end of May until September is reliably hot with long sunny day with 10 hours sunshine, little rainfall and daily average highs of 26-29 degrees and warm nights dropping just below 20 degrees.
April, May and October are often warm and sunny with average temperatures in the low 20's but can be a little unreliable especially in October with an average of 6 hours sunshine a day - April has 7 and May 10 hours. All months can experience occasional rain.
The winter months are mild with average daily temperatures of 14 - 18 degrees, coolest in December, January and February. Evenings are cool and there is some rain but average hours of sunshine per day even in December is 4 compared to 1 in London!
