What will the weather be like in Mauritius ...
Mauritius enjoys a typically tropical climate with year-round heat, although the southeast trade winds help it never to feel too muggy. The summer months are from December to April (daytime temps in high 20’s), and the winter, such as it is, runs from May to November (temps 24-27 Celsius), and is cooler and drier.
Rain occurs in all months but the wettest period is in their summer, December to April and tropical cyclones (usually Jan-Feb) could occasionally bring squally rain and winds. The South and South East of the island, being exposed to the southeast tradewinds receive almost twice as much rainfall as the north and north west.
In general the best months to visit Mauritius are probably May to early December with May, September and October offering the best chance of little rain and good temperatures.
