The area...
Rich in history yet modern and sophisticated, Carvoeiro is a picturesque fishing village with a variety of small white sand beaches surrounded by limestone cliffs with crystal clear waters where the wind and the tide have sculpted beautiful caves. There’s a free shuttle to Carvoeiro (6 times a day in the summer) but we do recommend a hire car.

The Algarve on Portugal’s southern coast is blessed with sunshine all year
May – September offers the best sunshine, warm and sunny with an average of 11 hours sunshine a day and virtually no rainfall, average temperatures ranging between 23 – 30 C, although the sea breeze usually makes it pleasant in the hottest months.
The Algarve is a year round destination and winters are mild and perfect for families if you just want to relax and be warmer than in the UK. Daily temps are 15-18'C, perfect for golf or tennis. You would expect rain on some days between November - March.
