What will the weather be like...
Greece, the largest of the Ionian Islands has a Mediterranean climate with dry hot summers and mild winters.
July and August are consistently the hottest months averaging daytime temperatures of just over 30 degrees and nigh time temperatures of around 20 degrees.
At the beginning of the summer season in May expect temperatures to average 22 degrees with 8-10 hours sunshine and by mid-May any significant rain is unlikely although a light jacket would be needed for the evening. By June temperatures will be averaging 25 degrees rising through the month to 30, the evenings getting warmer too.
September is similar to June although in October the weather can start to be unpredictable with some rainy days and temperatures around 20 degrees, cooler at night.
