Family activities near Sheraton Rhodes Resort
Aquarium: Kids will love this. Located in Rhodes Town, the Aquarium offers visitors the chance to have a close up view of the marine life of the Eastern Mediterranean. It is home to a wide range of interesting specimens of anthozoa, molluscs, crabs and sea turtles.
Butterfly Valley: located on the western side of the Island of Rhodes, this site is populated with wooden bridges, to enable visitors to walk around and admire the thousands of multi-coloured butterflies that overwhelm the valley from mid-June to mid-September in order to reproduce.
The Avenue of the Knights and the Palace of the Knights: the perfect place to discover the charms of Rhodes Old Town, a stunning Medieval gem that was home of the Knights for over 200 years and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. What will the weather be like in Rhodes...
Rhodes is officially the sunniest of all the Greek islands. You can expect consistently hot and dry from June until September, with only the odd short, sharp shower and some cloud in October. Maximum daytime temperatures remain consistently in the late 20's dropping to mid-20's in October.
April already enjoys average daytime temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius and May 23 degrees, by May there is also virtually no rainfall and lots os sunshine!
