June truly is the start of the beach holiday season in Europe. As well as those southern destinations like the Italian and Spanish islands, Portugalis also a great place to visit at this time of year. Expect temperatures in the mid-20s, warm but not too hot for your baby or toddler.

For those who want a few more degrees for their money, Cyprus and the Greek islands offer sizzling temperatures in the late 20s, with warm, crystal clear seas for your toddler to splash and paddle in.
