Family Holidays To Dubai
Dubai buzzes! Dreamy soft sand beaches against the backdrop of sky-high buildings, sunshine and luxury go well together here. It really is a family playground: Wild Wadi Waterpark for the water babes and adrenaline junkies, dune bashing, camel riding and much more.
From young children to teenagers and their parents will love the easy beach and city combo - most of the quality beach hotels are under half an hour from air-conditioned shopping malls and gold and the spice souks of the Old Town.
Dubai oozes quality, so picking a hotel of high standard is easy but with hotels reluctant to guarantee interconnecting rooms and suites commanding high prices a family choice can be tricky so we have narrowed down the search and offer you the best options for your family holiday.
The main religion in Dubai is Islam and although it embraces international values respect is expected.
Most businesses close on Friday as this is Dubai's holy day and during the holy month of Ramadan shops are usually closed by day (shops in the Mall are often open) and open at night. It is considered disrespectful to eat, smoke or drink in public places during daylight hours in Ramadan. Hotels in Dubai will not serve alcohol in public places until after sunset (around 7pm) although you can drink in your room from the mini bar.
