Enquire About Family Holidays At Anantara Dubai

When do you want to go?

Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, Dubai

Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa is located on the eastern section of the Palm and like all the resorts on the Palm faces inwards, with views across the bay to the residential 'fronds’ and to the other resorts on the crescent including the huge Palm Atlantis.

Built in a Asian style it is an attractive resort arranged around three lagoons and the main swimming pool, edged by a white-sand beach.

Very family-friendly the beach is private with many watersports available and there is a kid's club and teens club to entertain the children on-site. Close-by there are all the attractions for a family day out including Aquaventure Water Park, Mall of the Emirates, Ski Dubai and Dubai Marina.

We cannot recommend the Anantara highly enough for a luxury family beach holiday in Dubai and the availability of interconnecting rooms and apartments offer families space and flexibility on holiday.

The area...

Situated just a few minutes away from the resort Aquaventure Waterpark is a must-do with so rides and attractions designed to excite and thrill this is the largest waterpark in Dubai. Dare you do the near vertical, 27.5 metre 'Leap of Faith' which catapults riders into a transparent tunnel through a shark filled lagoon?

Don't forget to try skiing in Dubai and children will love to play with the snow penguins or if this seems to crazy in the sun then head for a 4x4 or camel dessert adventure to see the golden sand dunes, home to the original Beduoin tribes.

Shopping? Head to one of the City's malls, the Ibn Battuta mile long shopping mall offers a selection of over 200 retail outlets, 21 cinemas, and the UAE's first IMAX theatre. Another superlative in shop-till-you-drop experiences are the Mall of the Emirates and the Dubai Mall - the largest shopping mall outside of North America.

The Dubai Marina is also impressive! Luxury yachts, fishing boats, and leisure craft whilst the Dubai International Marine Club, located on the resort grounds, is the prime water sports destination in the region. The Club is home to the world-famous Victory Powerboating Team and plays host to international maritime events including the UIM championships, Laser and Hobie-cat sailing, and kite-surfing challenges.

World-class golf courses are close to the hotel, or perhaps watch the camel racing - Dubai really has something for everyone!

What will the weather be like...

Plan carefully when you go to Dubai as temperatures go soaring in summer and from May to September the heat can get unbearable. You can expect a daily average of 34 degrees in May to 39 in July and August with the night time never dipping below 20 degrees Celcius. That said the hotels can still be busy so as long as you are prepared everything will be open!

Easter and October are popular times to go - it will be hot - low 30's during the day with plenty of sunshine and almost certainly no rainfall.

Our winter is when it really comes into its own and from November to March the weather is pleasant and the city comes to life. Temperatures are usually mid 20's (hotter in November and March) with pleasant evenings. It is possible that there can be a couple of  cooler days with some rainfall in any of these months (mostly in January) or unseasonally hot days.
