family friendly, family fun

Getting dressed up and following the time old tradition of ‘Trick or Treating’ to see which neighbours are handing out the best sweets and chocolate is always fun! But this year why not get into the Halloween spirit even more with these other fun-filled spooky activities.

Visit A Pumpkin Patch

During the run up to Halloween you will hear of many different types of pumpkin patches near you that you and your family can visit. Some are simply for finding your perfect pumpkin, some have other fun attractions like a hay ride, corn maze, petting zoo, children’s fair rides, and more!

After your family day out, the fun doesn’t stop there… take your favourite pumpkins home to decorate! Carve or paint the pumpkins and place them around the house with a tea light inside for a spooky Halloween lantern.

Printable Halloween Masks

If your children enjoy dressing up, a simple and fun activity that your children will love is using printable Halloween masks. Browse the internet for their favourite mask design and choose from either a colourful print out or a blank one they can colour themselves.

Halloween Movie Marathon

There are loads and loads and loads of Halloween movies, from the classic films that just never get old to the new release movies of the year. Grab some spooky themed snacks, dim the lights and have a family Halloween movie marathon.

Bake Halloween Treats

Satisfy your families sweet tooth by baking some sinfully sweet Halloween treats. From Frankenstein cookies to ghoulish rice crispy treats and mini monster cupcakes…

Try out some kid-friendly recipes and have some family fun in the kitchen and enjoy the delicious snacks after all of your hard work!
