With the cold winter months of the UK drawing into full swing, we think its time we escape to a warmer destination!

There is still time to book a winter sun holiday with your family, and to help you decide on where to go we have gathered together a fantastic selection of sunny destinations that will tick all of your boxes for an amazing family getaway this winter.

Mexico

Cancun, Mexico is the ideal place for you and your family to catch some rays of sunshine during the dreary UK winter months. Boasting glorious highs of 30°C between the months of November and March!

With long stretches of pure white sand, warm Caribbean seas, lively atmosphere and adventure for all the family, Mexico offers fantastic family beach holidays for children of all ages.

Dubai

Because of the intense, humid summer in Dubai, most holiday makers to this amazing destination prefer to go during the UK’s winter period between November and March as temperatures drop to a comfortable 25°C.

Dreamy soft sand beaches against the backdrop of sky-high buildings, sunshine and luxury go well together here. It really is a family playground: Wild Wadi Waterpark for the water babes and adrenaline junkies, dune bashing, camel riding and much more.

Tenerife

Typical of the Canary Islands, Tenerife boasts stunning majestic landscapes, guaranteed sunshine and little rainfall throughout the year.

Tenerife is an island of dramatic contrasts with child-friendly hotels, natural beauty of the beaches and mountains as well as waterparks – an excellent destination for a family holiday. The largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife is interesting and fun for every member of the family.

Lanzarote

Renowned for its white sandy beaches, rocky inlets and spectacular volcanic backdrop, Lanzarote offers all of this accompanied by pleasantly warm sunny days.

Lanzarote’s unique landscape almost resembles the surface of the moon, and the island has been declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO.

Thailand

The best time to visit the Thai islands is between the months of November and March during the topical’s ‘Dry Season’, expect highs of 35°C.

Thailand is so diverse, with heaps of cultural landmarks and stunning temples, there is much to explore. Begin your family holiday in the busting centre of Bangkok, just staying a few nights to discover the breath-taking architecture.
